Software Development Working Group

Content for the My UNLV portal is delivered in "portlets" that employ Oracle Portal Technology. At present, My UNLV has portlets that display content from RSS feeds and a WebCampus API. These portlets allow users to view their Rebel mail accounts, weather information, and news from various national outlets. Users also have a personal calendar with academic dates, as well as the option to add personal dates from a WebCampus calendar.
